Job description
Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated tests in accordance with established standards. Utilize open-source tools (Selenium, Appium) for project requirements to automate testing of web interfaces and client-server applications. Investigate failed automation tests and report issues in bug tracking system as appropriate. Perform feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management. Work with the QA team and development team to understand the project requirements and create real-world test cases and scenarios. Assist in setting up, configuring, and maintaining test environments. Conduct review meetings on automation deliverables and process improvements.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Proven experience in using Selenium and Appium for automation testing. Strong programming knowledge in Java or any other object-oriented programming language. Good understanding of SDLC and STLC. Experience in integrating test automation fully into the CI/CD pipeline. Understanding of Agile methodologies. Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Nice-to-have: Experience in using other testing tools and technologies is a plus. Knowledge of API testing, Performance testing, and Security testing.Job tags
