JOB OVERVIEW
The incumbent will be responsible for managing Operations Finance responsibilities for India, working in close co-ordination with the local Finance & Operations team. The ideal candidate will have Operational Finance background, preferably in MNC companies with Manufacturing setup. The individual should be a self-starter, highly motivated, and extremely good at Microsoft Excel. S/he should be able to handle multiple stakeholders & prioritize deliverables.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Finance Partner to the Manufacturing team.
- Inventory, Physical Inventory, Cycle Time Management.
- Work closely with the Corporate Cost roadmap team and the Costing (Accounting) team.
- Ownership of budgetary exercise for Manufacturing.
- Cash Flow projections related to production working closely with Planning and SCM teams.
- Review and tracking of spend requests related to Manufacturing and approving in ERP; making recommendations for approval/disapproval of spend requests.
- Keeping a tight leash on Indirect Overheads vis-à-vis approved budget – identifying areas of optimizing cost and implementing them.
- Monthly Reporting and Budget vs. Actual variance analysis.
- Review Capex requests, doing ROI analysis, comparison with approved budget.
- Emphasis of continuous process improvements and building processes as required.
FORMAL EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- CA/MBA with 9 -14 years of progressive experience in Operations Finance and Business partnering in Manufacturing.
- A combination of education, training, and experience, required.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
Reports To : Director - Operational Finance.
Interfaces With : Manufacturing & Engineering.
