We are in search of a proactive, results-driven individual capable of thriving in a dynamic sales environment. With 15+ years of overall Sales experience, specifically in software services, he/she will primarily focus on driving Sales within the Retail space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate proficiency in managing Retail accounts, with experience in eCommerce, Omnichannel Implementation, Managed Services, Merchandising, and Store Solution Implementation.
- Function in a pure hunter position, prospecting and cultivating relationships with new customers from inception to successful closure.
- Maintain a consistent sales record, meeting and exceeding sales quotas consistently over the years.
- Demonstrate a track record of selling and managing large IT account contracts, including identifying opportunities, prospecting, and successfully closing business deals.
- Cultivate influential relationships with key decision-makers within companies in the region, fostering social connections, and nurturing these relationships.
Other Responsibilities:
- Manage inbound leads and maintain a sales pipeline for the assigned territory.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of company differentiators and effectively positioning against competitors in sales pitches.
- Attend relevant industry-related trade shows and conferences as required to enhance market presence and networking opportunities.
- Lead discussions on technology and solutions with decision-makers during the sales process (RFP, RFI, solution).
- Actively participate in regular sales meetings, providing comprehensive updates on the sales pipeline.
- Meet defined quarterly and annual sales quotas.
An ideal candidate should have:
- 15+ years of sales experience in software services, with a focus on Retail IT Services.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Possess extensive experience in IT solutions and services, including work with offshore development centers.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales pipeline management.
