We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with expertise in PTC Creo (Computer-Aided Design and Drafting) and a strong background in ATE/ITA (Automated Test Equipment/In-Circuit Test Architecture) mechanical drawings. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of excellence in the field with 8-10 years of hands-on experience.
Responsibilities: - PTC Creo Proficiency: Demonstrate advanced proficiency in PTC Creo for 3D modeling, simulation, and detailed engineering drawings.
- ATE/ITA Mechanical Drawings: Develop and maintain precise mechanical drawings for Automated Test Equipment and In-Circuit Test Architecture, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
- Collaborative Design: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software developers, and project managers, to ensure seamless integration of mechanical components into overall system designs.
- Innovation and Optimization: Identify opportunities for innovation and optimization in mechanical design processes, contributing to the continuous improvement of product performance and efficiency.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews of designs to ensure accuracy, reliability, and adherence to design specifications.
- Documentation: Prepare comprehensive design documentation, including design calculations, technical specifications, and test plans.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve design challenges and issues in a timely and efficient manner, maintaining a focus on project timelines.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Experience: 8-10 years of hands-on experience in mechanical design, with a significant focus on PTC Creo and ATE/ITA mechanical drawings.
- Software Skills: Proficient in PTC Creo and other relevant CAD tools. Knowledge of additional software for simulation and analysis is desirable.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with manufacturing processes, materials, and industry standards related to automated test equipment.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Team Player: Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
