S&OP despatch ComplianceA) Inventory Management - Defining Inventory Norms and Monitor Secondary Sales Vs Stocks to achieve the STOB) Market Visits - Pro-active anticipation and planning for volumes by doing Structured market visitsC) Quantity Distribution - Deep diving depot wise-taluka-SLOC-segment wise quantity distributionD) Demand Analysis - Assessing the demand fluctuation and aligning resources accordingly E) Visibility & delivery - Providing order execution visibility & delivery visibility to the customer, Monitoring of inventory levels, Availability of executable/ clear orders, Diversion / crossing of primary vehicles.
2) Cost Targets & Excellence in Cost ManagementA) Vehicle Efficiency - Crossing % and improvement and Fulfilling Specific vehicle requirements to help achieve the efficiencyB) Asset Utilization - Asset Utilization (Revenue Rs/KM) For Secondary HUBS by managing Unloading time, Warehouse TAT, Effectiveness of Driver Motivation Schemes for faster TAT in transitC) Market Rate Survey - Survey of Market rates for existing handling rates in unionised & non-unionised environment.D) Secondary Freight Management - Secondary Freight Rates for unionised & non-unionised markets by Managing discounts over union standard rates and Survey of Market rates.E) Stacking/Fleet Planning - Adherence to stacking norms at godowns and during Rail Loading Fleet Planning as per market requirement.F) Loading/Unloading Cost - Loading / Unloading cost by Deciding on the type of Rake, Type of Bag (HDPE vs Paper + AdStar), Location, Additional payments on account of holiday, night hoursG) Transporter Quality - Ensuring quality of transporter by On Time Delivery, Timely Submission of Documents, % Volume for which debit for shortages and damages.
3) Service ExcellenceA) Understanding the Market requirement - Understanding of market requirement by developing an understanding of channel partners, markets nearby plants and key customers.B) Warehouse & Rail Head Mgmt - Handling & transportation arrangements at warehouse & rail headC) Godown Mgmt - Ensuring godown opening & closing hours in line with market requirementD) Agent & transporter Mgmt - Daily Operational Coordination with handling agent & Secondary transporter. Handling of customer issues - Secondary.E) SLA Mgmt - Service Level agreements for Timely unloading of primary fleet by managing unloading time & labour availability
4) Focus/Strategic Innovation & ExcellenceA) Service Cost Benchmarking - Service Cost through Industry Bench marking and Negotiation Efficiency B) Capability Building - Capability to scaleup for order surgesC) Intra Region Benchmarking - Intra Region Benchmarking of PTPKD) Managing Multi Point delivery - Managing multi-point delivery beyond the agreed distance or more than agreed delivery points by having a clear understanding between marketing, logistics & transporter.
5 ) SafetyA) Overall Logistics Safety Mgmt - Ensuring overall Logistics Safety in Region in terms of Rail, Road & Driver Safety.B) Warehouse Safety - Ensuring Warehouse Safety by awareness creation with labour at warehouse.
