About the role

The data & reporting senior analyst will be an integral part of the Operational Division to ensure we can leverage and optimise on enhanced reporting and analytics capability. The role will require you to surface information from a number of best-in-class systems, create reports and provide visual and meaningful MS Excel/PowerBI dashboards to key stakeholders as per business requirements.

This role will enable you to analyse business and data processing problems to implement and improve computer systems using advanced technologies. A successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with Leaders to analyse user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems by developing application architecture, rationalization, and enablement. We are looking for someone with a passion for logical thinking and analytics (with 4 – 6 years of working experience), has a positive and collaborative approach to work, with a logical mindset and the ability to work with ambiguity and problem solve with minimal direction. Attention to detail and ownership of the data is of paramount importance for this role. Data needs to provide meaningful MI and be 100% accurate. The role would suit a person with analytical skills with a reporting and data background who enjoys working with complex data sets and translating into business insights, the right attitude and a passion for data is important, full training on internal systems and support will be given to ensure that the candidate is able to achieve the following: Use specialist tools to extract the data needed. Respond to data-related queries and ensure change control procedures are followed. Analysis of data to identify trends. Setting up processes and systems to make working with data more efficient. Research new ways to make use of data. Producing reports and charts communicating trends within data to non-specialists. Presenting information generated from data to managers. Produce and track key performance indicators. Develop and support reporting processes. Mine and analyse large datasets, draw valid inferences, and present them successfully to management using a reporting tool. Agree Data Reporting Requirements with Key Stakeholder’s

Skills and Experience Previous experience (4 – 6 years) in data reporting and analytics Excellent numerical and analytical skills. The ability to analyse, model and interpret data. Problem-solving skills. A methodical and logical approach. The ability to plan work and meet deadlines. Accuracy and attention to detail. Interpersonal skills. Teamworking skills. An understanding of the ethics of gathering and working with data. Analytical skills that allow for the development of data-driven reports Demonstrated ability to manage time and prioritize projects to meet deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively relate data to co-workers. General knowledge of business operations, objectives, strategies, process, and information flow Advanced user of Microsoft Office packages

Technical Skills Must have: · Advanced MS Excel user o Previous experience in working with heavy excel datasets. o Experience in writing complex syntax for functions like IF, IFS, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, LOOKUPS, INDEX MATCH, MAX, MIN, CONCAT, TRIM, etc… o Experience in creating PIVOT Tables which will help the user to summarise the complex data. o Creating insightful report by combining information from multiple reports with utmost accuracy. o Experience in cleansing huge raw data by using various advanced excel functions. o Logical ability to create complex conditional formatting. o Experience in combining data from multiple excel files to enrich a proper raw data for reporting. o Experience in creating meaningful dashboards with KPIs and insightful charts, tables, and trendlines. · Intermediate/advanced Power BI user o Hands on experience in working with Power BI reports and Dashboards. o Knowledge on how to connect multiple tables in Power BI. o knowledge on data cleansing and transformation by using Power Query editor. o Deep knowledge on creating Calculated columns and measures using DAX. o Experience in working with Power BI Service features.

· Documentation o Experience in drafting wireframe documents (MS Power Point) o Basic experience in documenting the Project details, dashboard user guide docs, handover documents etc… (MS Word).
