Job Description -Assistant Project Manager - Maintenance

Location: Delhi

Summary:

As a Maintenance Manager for retail projects, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective maintenance and upkeep of retail facilities. This role involves overseeing the planning and execution of maintenance activities, collaborating with vendors to guarantee the smooth operation of retail spaces. The Maintenance Manager plays a crucial role in creating a positive and safe environment for both customers and employees.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance Planning and Execution:

Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans for retail projects.

Coordinate and schedule routine maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.

Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and within established timelines.

Vendor Collaboration:

Identify and manage relationships with external vendors for maintenance services.

Obtain competitive quotes for maintenance projects and negotiate contracts.

Monitor vendor performance and ensure adherence to quality and timeline standards.

Budget Oversight:

Develop and manage the maintenance budget for retail projects.

Monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure budget compliance.

Facility Inspections:

Conduct regular inspections of retail facilities to identify maintenance needs.

Address and resolve issues related to cleanliness, safety, and overall facility appearance.

Compliance and Safety:

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.

Implement and enforce safety protocols for maintenance activities.

Keep abreast of regulatory changes and update processes accordingly.

Emergency Response:

Develop and implement emergency response plans for maintenance-related incidents.

Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure a swift and effective response to emergencies.

Team Management:

Lead and manage a team of maintenance personnel.

Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure the team's effectiveness.

Conduct regular performance evaluations and address any performance issues.

Qualifications :

Proven experience in maintenance management, preferably in the retail sector.

Knowledge of building systems, and regulations.

Strong leadership and organizational skills.

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
