What you will do - Role:
As a key member of the TJX Infrastructure Solution Design (ISD) team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and enabling the implementation of infrastructure solutions that empower our global business operations. Your role is crucial in ensuring the systematic conversion of complex business and product requirements into flexible, cost-effective technical solutions that support current and evolving needs.
As an ISD Infrastructure Architect, your responsibilities include leading the translation of business solutions into comprehensive infrastructure designs, ensuring alignment with TJX's long-term business plans and technological roadmaps. You will provide comprehensive leadership in infrastructure designs, actively participate in product discussions, and offer technical expertise on implementations. This role is integral for the continuous improvement, feature development, and secure delivery of high-value infrastructure at TJX.

- Proven experience in infrastructure implementation planning and designing, including data centers, COLOs, and globally dispersed sites.
- Proficient in virtualization and container technologies, SDDC architectures, and micro-segmentation techniques.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Linux and Windows systems, middleware & web services, and databases (Oracle, SQL).
- Deep understanding of IT service management principles, CMDB, security protocols, high availability, disaster recovery, and operational imperatives.
- Strong understanding of application deployment strategies
- Familiarity with integrating SaaS offerings with legacy systems.
- Experience in a CI/CD environment.
- Experience with agile frameworks.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the integration and deployment of infrastructure solutions across various departments, ensuring coherent collaboration.
- Advocate for and drive enhancements in infrastructure services and delivery processes in alignment with best practices and industry standards.
- Ensure all solutions comply with TJX standards, security requirements, and architectural governance.
- Provide technical mentorship and contribute to troubleshooting efforts, sharing best practices across the organization.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders, effectively communicating technical designs and business requirements.
- Work with enterprise architects and engineers to evolve design patterns, establish best practices, and generate reusable design templates.
