Job description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic PR Professional to join our team at MNCL. The role involves managing both offline and online public relations efforts to enhance the firm's reputation, drive brand awareness, and establish strong relationships with media, stakeholders, and the public. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in financial services PR, exceptional communication skills, and a strategic mindset to navigate the complexities of the industry.
Responsibilities: PR Strategy and Planning: Develop comprehensive PR strategies aligned with business objectives, highlighting the firm's expertise, thought leadership, and unique value proposition. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PR efforts with broader marketing and communication initiatives. Media Relations: Cultivate and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, and key media outlets covering the financial services industry. Proactively pitch story ideas, secure media placements, and respond to media inquiries. Offline PR: Plan and execute offline PR campaigns, including press releases, press conferences, seminars, and speaking engagements. Develop messaging and talking points for firm spokespersons and senior executives. Online PR and Reputation Management: Manage the firm's online reputation by monitoring and engaging with online conversations, reviews, and comments. Develop and implement strategies to address potential reputation risks and crises. Content Development: Create compelling and accurate content for press releases, op-eds, articles, blog posts, and other PR materials. Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop content that showcases the firm's industry insights. Thought Leadership and Expert Positioning: Identify opportunities for thought leadership and expert positioning through guest articles, interviews, and industry commentary. Develop and distribute content that positions the firm as a trusted authority in the financial services space. Event Coordination: Coordinate media attendance at events, conferences, and seminars. Manage logistics for media interactions and ensure the firm's key messages are effectively communicated. Measurement and Reporting: Track and analyze the effectiveness of PR campaigns, media coverage, and online engagement. Generate regular reports to assess the impact of PR efforts on brand awareness and reputation. Requirement: Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (Master's preferred). Proven experience of at least 6 to 8 years in PR roles within the financial services or related industry. Strong understanding of financial markets, products, and industry regulations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create persuasive and accurate content. Strong media relations skills and an established network of financial services media contacts. Experience in managing online reputation and addressing potential reputation risks. Proficiency in digital PR tools, social media platforms, and online monitoring. Strategic thinker with the ability to align PR efforts with business goals. Excellent project management and organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Creativity and adaptability in developing PR strategies for both traditional and digital channels.Job tags
