Job description

Job Title: Junior Technical Lead

Job Location: Nagole, Hyderabad.

Job Overview:

As a Junior Technical Lead, you will play a crucial role in leading technical teams, overseeing project execution, and contributing to the development of innovative solutions. Working closely with senior technical leads and project managers, you will be responsible for guiding team members, ensuring adherence to coding standards, and participating in the design and implementation of software solutions. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a collaborative approach to drive successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Leadership:

  - Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.

  - Assist in the design and architecture of software solutions.

2. Project Oversight:

  - Collaborate with project managers to understand project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.

  - Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing potential issues.

3. Team Collaboration:

  - Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.

  - Work closely with team members to share knowledge and promote skill development.

4. Code Review and Quality Assurance:

  - Conduct regular code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

  - Implement and oversee quality assurance processes to maintain high code quality.

5. Problem Solving:

  - Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide innovative solutions.

  - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve project challenges.

6. Mentorship:

  - Mentor junior developers, providing guidance on technical skills and professional development.

  - Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions within the team.

7. Technology Evaluation:

  - Stay updated on emerging technologies and evaluate their potential application to projects.

  - Provide recommendations for technology adoption based on project requirements.

8. Communication:

  - Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  - Collaborate with project managers and other team leads to ensure clear communication channels.

9. Documentation:

  - Ensure thorough and well-maintained technical documentation for projects.

  - Document coding standards, processes, and best practices.

10. Continuous Improvement:

  - Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to the evolution of development methodologies.

  - Implement feedback loops to continuously enhance team performance.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 2+ Years experience in software development with expertise in MERN, Java, Python, MySql, Etc..

- 2+ Years experience in a leadership or mentorship role is preferred.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.

- Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management concepts.

Additional Requirements:

- Enthusiasm for learning and staying updated on industry trends.

- Adaptable and able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
