Technical Delivery Manager
Senior Technical Delivery Manager Job Description: As a Senior Technical Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing complex technical projects, primarily focusing on delivering high-quality software solutions. Your role will involve extensive use of Microsoft Project Plan for project planning and Azure DevOps for software development lifecycle management. You will lead cross-functional teams to ensure that project milestones are met and align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities - Project Planning and Execution: Utilize Microsoft Project Plan to create detailed project timelines and milestones. Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure timely delivery.
- Azure DevOps Management: Oversee and manage the software development lifecycle using Azure DevOps. This includes repository management, CI/CD pipelines, and agile project management.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders. Communicate project status, risks, and mitigation strategies effectively.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of software developers, QA engineers, and other technical staff. Ensure team collaboration and effective problem-solving.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet both technical requirements and business needs.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure minimal impact on project timelines and quality.
- Budget Management: Manage project budgets and resources, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team, focusing on process optimization and efficiency.
Qualifications - Proven experience as a Technical Delivery Manager or similar role in software development projects.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Project Plan and Azure DevOps.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and software development lifecycle.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
Preferred Skills - Experience in a cloud computing environment, particularly with Microsoft Azure.
- Familiarity with other project management and collaboration tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
