Job description
Service Desk/Desktop Administrator
Work Location: Chennai/Bangalore
Work Mode: Hybrid
Work Time : 24*7 - rotational
Duties:
- Answer the IT Service Desk voice line.
- Monitor tickets/requests submitted to our Request Portal.
- Diagnose and resolve software and hardware problems for BCT in a timely, customer-focused manner.
- Assist users with installation, configuration, and maintenance of software applications.
- Assist in maintaining hardware inventory control.
- Assist in the deployment of new computers to staff.
- Escalate tickets/requests to appropriate BCT IT staff as necessary.
- Document any open tickets/request that require hand-off or escalation to US Based IT staff for further resolution/assistance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills
- Strong knowledge operating and troubleshooting Windows 10.
- Strong knowledge operating and troubleshooting Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Word, Excel, and MS Teams.
- General knowledge of remote connectivity solutions and troubleshooting.
