Vendor Manager Location: Whitefield, Bengaluru Experience: 4–7 years of experience in vendor management or a related field. Notice Period: Immediate Joiner
About the Role: We are seeking a driven and experienced Vendor Manager to join our team in Bangalore Whitefield. You will be responsible for managing the complete vendor lifecycle, from sourcing and selection to contract negotiation and performance management. You will play a key role in ensuring that our company receives the best possible value from its vendors. Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategies for sourcing and qualifying new vendors, leveraging strong IT recruitment skills. Manage the entire vendor procurement process, including RFP creation, vendor selection, price negotiation, and contract finalization. Foster and maintain strong relationships with key vendors, facilitating open communication and collaboration. Monitor vendor performance against agreed-upon KPIs and service level agreements (SLAs). Identify and manage risks associated with vendor relationships, implementing mitigation strategies as needed. Prepare comprehensive reports on vendor performance and cost savings, using strong reporting skills. Manage stakeholder expectations throughout the vendor management process. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in vendor management. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 4-7 years of experience in vendor management or a related field. Proven track record of success in sourcing, negotiating, and managing vendor contracts. Strong understanding of IT recruitment and procurement processes. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with vendor management software (optional).Job tags
