What Success Looks Like In This Role

As a key subject matter expert on all matters relating to Benefits in the Asia-Pacific region, you'll partner closely with leadership to ensure Unisys reaches our talent management goals in the region. The successful associate will be instrumental in reviewing current Benefit programs against market benchmark practices and statutory requirements to recommend and execute appropriate benefits packages in the region, ensuring packages are current with trends, practices, and costs.

Responsibilities Include

  • Reviewing and interpreting legislative requirements for all plans
  • Developing appropriate policy guidelines ensuring government compliance
  • Facilitating the process of updating plan documents and summary plan descriptions
  • Acting as a point of contact for pertaining to complex benefits matters
  • Administering and ensuring compliance with insurance and retirement and flexible spending plans
  • Developing and executing well planned communication strategies to educate all team members and employees on the various benefits options and wellness focuses
  • Assist in analysis and leveraging systems to streamline processes, minimize paperwork and enhance the associate experience
  • Ensures key deliverables are met on appropriate timelines for annual renewal processes

  • Provides business solutions within defined guidelines and can manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of Benefits programs, processes and administration.
  • Resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways.
  • Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
  • Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
  • Networks with senior internal and external personnel.
  • Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.
  • Uses knowledge to independently resolve moderately complex issues.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

  • Undergraduate college degree or equivalent is required.
  • 6-12 years of Benefits experience
  • Professional certification and/or Master's Degree are desirable.
  • Workday experience preferred.
