Insurance Customer Service Representative

A leading Insurance organization is looking for an experienced insurance customer service representative to connect with our customers. In this role you will be responsible for answering customer queries dealing with complaints and providing potential customers with detailed information about our products. You may also be required to review a customer s policy and direct calls to sales agents when a policy needs to be initiated or upgraded.

To ensure success as an insurance customer service representative you should have a friendly and professional demeanor good communication skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

Responsibilities:

Respond to incoming calls emails and chats about insurance policies and insurance coverage issues as well as consumer complaints and general inquiries

Demonstrate accuracy in processing client policy modifications based on the data given

Verify new customers coverage and present policyholders with proof of insurance paperwork

Keep track of all customer inquiries and follow up to verify that all questions are answered regarding customer policies

Stay uptodate on new marketing efforts to answer insurance product inquiries utilizing all the resources available

Handle complaints present appropriate solutions and alternatives within the timeframes set and follow up to ensure that the issue has been resolved

Direct any urgent or sensitive issues to the Supervisors

Requirements and qualifications:

Graduate in any field

Language Preference English also speak and write in Kannada

12 years of experience in the Customer Service department or a similar role in the Insurance industry

Knowledge of insurance products and policy schedules is preferred

Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office and customer relationship management software

Excellent active listening interpersonal and communication skills
