Functional Testing with a specialization in Non-Functional Testing to join our quality assurance team. As a Non-Functional Testing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the performance, reliability, and scalability of our software products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in non-functional testing methodologies and tools. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience (4+ years) as a Quality Analyst with a focus on Non-Functional Testing. Strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices. Proficiency in using non-functional testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, or similar. Experience with performance testing, load testing, stress testing, and scalability testing. Knowledge of various non-functional testing types, including security testing, reliability testing, and usability testing. Familiarity with test automation and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Responsibilities: Non-Functional Test Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and define non-functional testing objectives. Develop comprehensive test plans for various non-functional testing types. Performance Testing: Conduct performance testing to assess system responsiveness, scalability, and stability under varying workloads. Analyze and interpret performance test results to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement. Load Testing: Design and execute load tests to evaluate the system's capacity and determine its behavior under different load conditions. Stress Testing: Implement stress tests to assess the system's robustness and identify its breaking points. Security Testing: Conduct security testing to identify vulnerabilities and ensure the software complies with security standards. Reliability Testing: Perform reliability testing to assess the software's stability and reliability over time. Usability Testing: Collaborate with user experience teams to incorporate non-functional testing aspects related to usability. Automation Scripting: Develop and maintain automation scripts for non-functional testing using scripting languages. Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to address and resolve non-functional issues. Documentation: Create detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports. Continuous Improvement: Propose and implement improvements to non-functional testing processes and methodologies.
