Job description
We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer who, along with our excellent software development team, will be responsible for handling full-stack load at Cellprop Private Limited. Duties will include but are not limited to developing and maintaining the backend & IT infra for connected IoT devices. He/she will be closely working with managers and cross-functional departments to communicate project statuses and proposals.
The successful candidate should have in-depth knowledge of Queues, MQTT, RabbitMQ, DBMS, node.js, Express.js, Apache, object-orientated modeling and git. To excel in this position, he/she will need extensive knowledge of programming languages and the software development life-cycle.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, modify, implement, and support software components anywhere in the Software stack.
- Develop upstream & downstream infrastructure for data-flow from IoT devices.
- Modify software to fix errors, adapt it to new hardware, improve its performance, or upgrade interfaces.
- Work with different departments on technical issues.
- Consult with engineering staffs to evaluate software-hardware interfaces and develop specifications and performance requirements.
- Prepare reports on programming project specifications, activities, or status.
- Able to design system testing (test cases) and validation procedures.
- See through a project from conception to finished product.
Requirements 1. Strong proficiency in Javascript, python & SQL with a working understanding of node, multi-threading, concurrency, and memory management. (must-have)
- Excellent knowledge of Object-Oriented and functional programming.
- Good understanding of Robotics oriented middlewares and frameworks Eg. ROS. (good to have)
- Familiar with user interface software's such as pyqt, visual studio
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, mathematical calculations.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD and the ability to follow best practices for version control and code review.
