- Functional Process Knowledge in Sales and Distribution or Materials Management
- Conducts business process analysis, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefit analysis in an effort to align information technology solutions with business initiatives.
- Under minimal supervision formulates and defines system scope and objectives to develop or modify information systems. Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Competent to work on most phases of application system analysis and design activities. Prepares charts and diagrams to support problem and/or design solution documentation.
- Capability to mine and analyze business transactional data to identify/quantify business and/or systems issues.
- Prior experience working with US Based business counterparts
- Experience in conducting remote business requirements sessions
- Define use cases for POC (proof of concept), as appropriate
- Identifies and communicates risks (business, application, technical) associated with component or application implementation at the business level, and enterprise level
- Accountable for quality of the solution through the SDLC process.
- Documents the “as-is” business process and use value stream mapping techniques to identify and unclog process bottlenecks
Core Competency
- Strong functional configuration experience with ERP Systems (SAP) in SD (Sales & Distribution) or Materials Management (MM)
- Domain experience – Core Manufacturing / Logistics
- SAP SD or MM with extensive integration experience with SAP MM, SD, FICO etc.
- Good working knowledge of Logistics execution.
- SAP Pricing, EDI, Third party processing, Front end integration.
- High level of motivation, self-starter, excellent at follow-up, team-player with ability to deliver within defined timelines
- Advanced written and oral communication skills required
- Advanced skills in preparing and delivering presentations required
Qualifications
- Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Requires at least 6 to 8 years of related experience in SAP SD or MM .
- Experience in atleast one end to end project implementation.
- SAP Certification would be an added advantage.
- Ability to lead projects with an end-to-end view into planning, organization and execution
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
- Excellent analytical and technical skills
