Job Title: Oracle EPM Financial Business Analyst

Location: Bengaluru – India

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Oracle EPM Financial Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our finance and technology departments, you will play a crucial role in leveraging Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) tools to optimize financial processes, improve decision-making, and drive overall business performance. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of financial systems, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective EPM solutions.

Essential Functions/Core Duties

1. Oracle EPM Implementation and Configuration:

• Lead the implementation and configuration of Oracle EPM applications to meet the organization's financial reporting and analysis needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document business requirements for EPM solutions.

1. Financial Process Optimization:

• Analyze existing financial processes and identify opportunities for improvement using Oracle EPM tools.
• Work closely with finance stakeholders to streamline budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.

1. System Integration:

• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate Oracle EPM with other enterprise systems, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues as they arise.

1. User Training and Support:

• Provide training to end-users on Oracle EPM applications and processes.
• Offer ongoing support to users, addressing inquiries and resolving system-related issues promptly.

1. Customization and Enhancements:

• Customize Oracle EPM applications to meet unique business requirements.
• Stay informed about updates and new features in Oracle EPM, assessing their potential impact on the organization.

1. Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Utilize Oracle EPM tools to perform in-depth financial analysis and generate insightful reports.
• Develop and maintain financial dashboards for key stakeholders.

1. Documentation:

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for Oracle EPM configurations, processes, and best practices.
• Ensure that all relevant policies and procedures are well-documented.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on Oracle EPM implementations.
• In-depth knowledge of Oracle EPM applications, including Hyperion Planning, Financial Management, and Essbase.
• Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles.1
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and lead cross-functional projects.

Preferred qualification

• Oracle EPM certification.
• Experience with other Oracle Cloud applications.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
