As a DevOps Engineer II you will:
- Support and manage deployment process and tooling
- Sustain and improve the deployment and operations of third-party vendor applications
- Maintain and build upon our custom first-party deployment infrastructure and tooling with an eye towards continuous delivery
- Provide support to the rest of engineering as related to CI pipelines, builds, and deployments
- Actively build, test, and deploy Next Generation solution
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives relating to frameworks and processes which cut across the engineering organization
As a leading candidate, you have:
- Deep cloud experience, AWS preferred
- Solid understanding of Linux systems administration and networking
- Experience with an industry-standard CI/CD platform such as:
- GitLab
- Concourse
- Jenkins
- Travis CI
- Working knowledge of containerization, specifically Docker and Kubernetes
- Fluent command of the tools of the trade, including:
- Bash
- Python
- Terraform
- Comfort being successful in unfamiliar environments
- A keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- A team-first attitude, always looking to improve yourself and those around you
