Job description
This is a remote position.
KraftPixel an 8.5 year old organization in the IT sector is looking for a highownership and accountable Sr. WordPress Web Developer who has worked with core WordPress concepts such as actions hooks caching etc.
Core Responsibilities in simple words
- Writing readable optimized and manageable PHP/HTML/CSS/JS code that results in an optimized solution and ensuring that your juniors do it well too.
- Helping/teaching/guiding/leading a team to get unstuck when they are stuck.
- Planning the project charter (list of activities with dates) and getting it done using your teammates; coordinating with the Operations team (project manager business analyst) where necessary.
- Building solutions and projects in a CMS environment (primarily WordPress)
- Debugging and resolving frontend and backend errors (using server logs to your benefit)
- Testing deploying and documenting your work. Being a master at mobile responsive development!
- Providing informal and formal feedback to your juniors.
- Constantly learning being inspired by the latest happenings in web development inspiring your team and growing towards a Sr. Technical Project Manager or Technical Architect role at KraftPixel
- Exercising high ownership and accountability as an integral part of your career at KraftPixel and gaining the cooperation of your reportees for the same

Requirements
- Minimum 3 year working experience of WordPress backend (codelevel) and frontend development or any other PHPbased framework; must have experience with core WP concepts such as actions hooks etc.
- Excellent working knowledge of HTML CSS and PHP
- Aboveaverage experience with Javascript
- Aboveaverage experience with debugging; and using performance testing suites such as Google PageSpeed Insights to optimize.
- Great googling & problem solving skills
- Ability to get the cooperation of teammates to meet objectives of the company
- Good English speaking and writing skills.
