Key Responsibilities:
As an Assistant Merchandiser in garment manufacturing, your primary responsibilities would include:
Client Communication: Effectively communicate with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, and any specific instructions for garment production.
Order Processing: Assist in processing client orders, ensuring accuracy in specifications, quantities, and timelines.
Sample Management: Coordinate the development and dispatch of product samples, addressing client feedback and making necessary adjustments.
Production Coordination: Work closely with production teams to ensure timely and accurate manufacturing of garments according to client specifications.
Quality Control: Monitor and inspect production quality to ensure it meets the agreed-upon standards and client expectations.
Timeline Management: Track and manage production timelines to ensure on-time delivery of orders to clients.
Problem Resolution: Address any issues or challenges that may arise during the production process, coordinating solutions to meet client satisfaction.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of client communications, orders, and production details.
Price Negotiation: Assist in negotiations related to pricing, terms, and conditions with clients, ensuring profitability for the manufacturing company.
Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, pricing, and competitor activities to provide valuable insights during client interactions.
Relationship Building: Cultivate positive relationships with clients, fostering trust and ensuring a smooth communication channel for ongoing and future collaborations.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and logistics, to ensure a cohesive and efficient workflow.
This role requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, time management, and a keen understanding of the garment manufacturing process.
