Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities:-
 UI/UX Design Responsibility: The designer should have a deep understanding of user interface and
user experience design principles. They should be able to create visually appealing and intuitive
interfaces that enhance user satisfaction and usability using wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow
diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes.
 Technical Proficiency: UI designer should be proficient in front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS,
JavaScript, and relevant frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js). They should stay updated with the
latest trends , standards and best practices in web development.
 Architecture and Scalability: UI designer should be able to design scalable and maintainable front-end
architectures. They should make informed decisions about the use of libraries, frameworks, and patterns
to ensure the application's long-term viability.
 Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaboration with other team members, such as back-end developers,
product managers, and designers, is crucial. UI designers should be effective communicators and work
closely with these stakeholders to align on project goals and requirements.
 Design System Development: Developing and maintaining a design system or style guide can be part of
the role. This ensures consistency in design and user experience across the application or product.
 Performance Optimization: Optimizing the performance of the user interface is critical for a positive user
experience. UI designers should be skilled in techniques to reduce load times and improve overall
performance.
 Testing and Quality Assurance: UI designer should be involved in testing and quality assurance
processes to identify and address issues related to the user interface. This includes usability testing,
cross-browser testing, and responsive design testing.
 Problem Solving: UI designers should be able to analyze complex design and functionality requirements
and come up with creative solutions. They should also be skilled at troubleshooting and resolving front-end
issues.
 Mentorship: UI designers may be expected to provide leadership and mentorship to junior UI developers,
helping them grow their skills and understanding of best practices.
 Continuous Learning and upskilling: Staying updated with the latest trends and emerging technologies
in UI/UX design and development is crucial to ensure that the product remains competitive and up-to-date.
Skills & Experience:-
 Hands on experience as a web/mobile application UI/UX designer
 Should understand the concept of responsive design and dynamic serving
 Strong understanding of mobile platforms, particularly iOS and Android
 Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (E.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks), CoralDraw and Dreamweaver,
mock up tools like Balsamiq or similar
 Front end Technologies: In-depth knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3, and at least basic knowledge of
JavaScript/JQuery
 In-depth knowledge of of HTML5 and CSS3,Angular , Ajax Calls, and Frontend frameworks
 Should be proficient with JavaScript and scripting libraries such as jQuery, require.js, moment.js,
Bootstrap (latest version) etc
Good to have:
 Experience with a modern front-end framework like Angular. Angular, React, Xaml, MAUI
 IDE - Visual Studio and VSCode
 Accessibility: Ensuring that the user interface is accessible to users with disabilities is essential. UI
architects should have knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and incorporate accessibility
best practices into their designs.
