Job description

Job Summary :

The Director of Financial Operations will manage and optimize financial processes to ensure the organization's financial health and compliance with regulatory standards. Serves as a thought leader and works closely with the leadership team to formulate short- to long-term financial and strategic plans. Leads accounting and taxation at the company's India and all global entities. You will lead the Finance shared services function in India and lead a team that manages multiple entities globally.

The primary responsibilities include:

**Financial Reporting and Compliance:** - Overseeing the preparation and dissemination of financial reports, statements, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. - Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and internal policies.

**Financial Control and Risk Management:** - Implementing and maintaining effective financial controls to safeguard assets and mitigate risks. - Identifying areas of financial risk and developing strategies to manage and mitigate them.

**Financial Operations Management:** - Managing day-to-day financial operations, including cash flow management, accounts payable/receivable, and treasury functions. - Optimizing financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

**Strategic Financial Initiatives:** - Collaborating with senior management to develop and execute strategic financial initiatives aligned with business objectives. - Evaluating investment opportunities, acquisitions, and divestitures to support long-term growth and profitability.

**Team Leadership and Development:** - Leading a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. - Developing talent and succession plans to ensure a capable and motivated finance team.

**Qualifications:**

CA with 15+ years exp in financial management,

preferably in investment banking or a related industry. US GAAP & IFRS Certification is mandatory Prior Controller experience is a must - Strong understanding of

financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. - Proven leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve objectives. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels. - Demonstrated ability to drive change, innovate, and adapt to evolving business needs.
