Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team at Kummenchery Steel. As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing a team, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This is a full-time position based in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. The ideal candidate should have mid-level experience of 4 to 6 years in sales.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience as an Area Sales Manager or similar role in the steel industry
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Mid-level experience of 4 to 6 years in sales
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel
- Familiarity with Tally software is a plus
- Ability to analyze market data and make data-driven decisions
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Knowledge of sales processes and techniques
- Experience in retail sales and sales operations is preferred
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company objectives and sales targets
- Manage and lead a team of sales executives, providing guidance, support, and training
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers
- Analyze market trends and competition to identify business opportunities
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to track progress and performance
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers
- Provide excellent customer service and address any customer concerns or inquiries
- Participate in industry events and exhibitions to promote the company's products
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and trends to remain competitive
