The Department The Global Security Department is to protect Invesco's information and Information assets from all internal and external, deliberate, or accidental threats. The information security team will protect data from unauthorized access while maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information. In addition, designing and maintaining the Security Policies and Standards while adhering to legislative and regulatory requirements, providing information security training for all employees, and ensuring the business continuity of Invesco.
Your Role
This role will support the Third-Party Security Risk function and team within Global Security at Invesco. This position will serve as a security subject matter expert working with third parties, technology, and business partners in implementing adequate security controls to protect Invesco's information and technology assets.
Key Responsibilities / Duties:
- Perform third party security risk assessments and present findings to business partners
- Perform the ongoing monitoring of third parties through industry benchmarking tools and threat intelligence feeds
- Partner with legal, compliance, procurement, Technology, and business team to identify specific third party security risks and recommend appropriate risk treatment action plans with pragmatic solutions to risk and control issues
- Respond appropriately to third-party cyber risk incidents, the related investigations, managing situations with discretion, sensitivity, and objectivity, and with due consideration of chain-of-custody
- Review security schedules as part of the contracts; Participate as a subject matter expert in contract negotiations
- Provide security risk management knowledge in the continuous improvement of the Third-Party Security Risk Assessment framework, methodology, program, standards, metrics, processes, and technologies
- Other duties as assigned
Work Experience / Knowledge:
- 2-5 years of experience in Security related role, preferably in a security assessment role
- Working knowledge of applicable information security standards (e.g. NIST, ISO 27001)
- Good understanding of Information security, audit/risk management methodologies
- Good understanding of vendor information security, business continuity, and privacy assessment lifecycle
- Strong experience with Shared Assessments Third-Party Risk Management questionnaire (SIG) is preferred
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Working experience with Third-Party Security risk management tools (ProcessUnity, OneTrust, ServiceNow, Risk Recon, BitSight, Security Scorecard) is preferred
