- Responsibilities:Tax Strategy and Planning:Develop and implement tax strategies aligned with clients' business objectives
- Provide proactive tax planning advice to minimize liabilities and optimize financial outcomes
- Tax Compliance:Oversee and ensure the accurate and timely preparation and filing of various tax returns (corporate, individual, partnership, etc)
- Ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations
- Client Advisory:Provide expert advice on tax implications related to business transactions, mergers, acquisitions, and other financial activities
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients on complex tax matters
- Team Leadership:Lead and manage the tax department, providing guidance and support to tax professionals
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment
- Client Relationship Management:Build and maintain positive relationships with clients
- Understand clients' needs and business objectives to deliver customized tax solutions
- Quality Assurance:Ensure the quality and accuracy of tax workpapers, documentation, and filings
- Implement quality control processes to meet professional standards
- Continuing Education:Stay informed about changes in tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards
- Provide training and development opportunities for tax team members
- Business Development:Identify opportunities for business growth and expansion of tax services
- Participate in business development activities, including client presentations and proposals
