Job Description:

As a Sous Chef, you will work closely with our school Administration team to plan, prepare, and serve meals that meet nutritional standards and delight the taste buds of our students.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Assisting in menu planning and recipe development to ensure a variety of nutritious and appealing meal options. Preparing and cooking meals according to established recipes and portion sizes, while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.

2. Supervising kitchen staff and providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations during meal service.

3. Monitoring inventory levels and placing orders for ingredients and supplies as needed.

4. Collaborating with the cafeteria team to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.

5. Assisting with special events and catering services as required.

Requirements:

1. Qualified professional required.

2. Previous experience working in a kitchen environment, preferably in a school or institutional setting.

3. Strong culinary skills and a passion for creating delicious and nutritious meals.

4. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines.

5. Excellent organizational and communication skills.

6. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
