For more information, visit Basic Information Position Title – Process Leader Experience Level – 8 to 10 years Department - Finance Location - Gurgaon Position reports to - Finance Controller Job Purpose Supervising the teams processing monthly payroll, including Statutory compliances, accounting and CTC reimbursements across the globe (including but not limited to UK, US, Hong Kong, Canada, Australia, Dubai and India etc.) Ensuring function is working properly. All required controls are in place and required details available as required Co-ordination with HR and payroll vendors Ensuring correct payroll, correct taxes, Timely payment and resolving queries Managing escalations Key Responsibilities Managerial Responsibilities • Managing team of 3-4 members • All sub functions are working as desired / required • Recruitment of team members as required • Job rotation / allocation to manage planned / unplanned staff leaves • Plan for month end close, audits and job allocation according to same Functional Responsibilities • Timely and accurate payroll payments • Ensuring all required controls are in place and are being followed without any fail • Co-ordination with Treasury department to ensure availability of required funds • Maintaining confidentiality • Payroll taxes, withholdings, their payments and related filing and GL accounting • Participate in various meetings / calls for various projects • Guidance to team members / direct reports as required Key Competencies Functional Competencies • Knowledge of ERP accounting software • Excel, word, outlook • Knowledge of payroll taxes Behavioral Competencies • Good verbal and written communication skills • Requires team management skills • Self-motivated and able to motivate others • Ability to handle high pressure situations Key Interactions • Internal – team members, other Managers and employees • External – Payroll Vendors, Auditors, other vendorsJob tags
