Job Description :Job Title : Data ModelarJob Type : Full TimeLocation : Pune, MumbaiResponsibilities :Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models that align with business requirements.Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into effective data models.Design and implement efficient database structures, ensuring data integrity and performance.Optimize existing data models for better performance and scalability.Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in database design and optimization.Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate data models into overall system architecture.Collaborate with data engineers, database administrators, and other IT professionals to ensure seamless implementation of data models.Implement and enforce data governance policies to ensure data quality, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements.Participate in the development and documentation of data standards and guidelines.Perform data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies, contributing insights to inform data model improvements.Create comprehensive documentation for data models, database designs, and related processes.Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Contribute to project planning, providing accurate time estimates and ensuring timely delivery of data modeling tasks. Qualifications :Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.Required Skills :Proven experience as a Data Modeler with a focus on data projects.Strong proficiency in data modeling tools (e.g., ERwin,etc.), Snowflake schema, Logical Model, data warehousingIn-depth knowledge of database design principles, normalization, and optimization.Familiarity with various database management systems (SQL, NoSQL).Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Experience with data governance practices and frameworks.Project management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Must Have :Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and technologies.
