Job description
As Tech Lead - Electronics & Hardware, your mission will be to support and monitor the next generation of Atlas Copco products. You will lead the team of electronics engineers for product development and sustenance.
You will be responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance in embedded electronics, driving the development process, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities of this role are .
- Provide technical leadership in the design and development of embedded electronics systems for controller development of Compressors, Vacuum pumps, and allied electronics boards.
- Develop and implement embedded electronics architectures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Conduct feasibility studies, prototype testing, and validation to ensure the reliability and performance of the electronics systems.
- Design and optimize electronic circuits, PCB layouts, and component selections for efficient and reliable operation.
- Mentor and coach technical talent on a new product development and sustaining product engineering programs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, firmware developers, and system architects to drive product innovation and ensure successful project execution.
- Participate in discussions & brainstorming sessions with customers and scientists.
- As needed, follow up with engineers on the satisfaction or completion of the support services provided.
To succeed, you will need
- Masters / PHD / Bachelor in Electronics/Instrumentation.
- Minimum 15+ years industry experience in electronics development.
- Experience in leading the team technically.
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
- Analytical thinking and Problem-solving aptitude.
