Job description
As a passionate SDET Lead, you will be responsible for designing automated and manual tests, developing automation scripts, and addressing automation challenges. Working closely with software engineers, QA engineers, and business partners, you will contribute to functional, integration, end-to-end, and API testing, ensuring the reliability of new features, regression testing, and bug fixes. Proficiency in Test Automation in a Cloud environment, along with expertise in NodeJS and/or Python, is crucial for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing automated tests.
- Iterating and improving automation frameworks and tools.
- Researching software issues through testing.
- Proficient in CI/CD implementation.
- Collaborating with team members to develop solutions.
- Conducting various testing types, including black-box, white-box, functional, system, end-to-end, data integrity, user acceptance, smoke, regression, and ad hoc testing.
- Precisely documenting defects with steps to reproduce, relevant logs, and errors.
- Staying updated with the latest industry developments.
What You Bring:
- 10+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors degree in Computer Science.
- Previous experience as a Senior Test Engineer or SDET in automation testing.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as NodeJS and Python.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Highly accurate and detail-oriented.
