Job description
PAI develops Solutions that are used by multiple clients. Solution development follows a Solution development roadmap
that defines the functional and non-functional features of the proposed Solutions.
The key roles associated with Solution Development are:
Solutions Owner - defines the Solution roadmap.
Solution Development Director - responsible for the development and delivery of all Solutions at PAI
Solution Development Lead - responsible for the development and delivery of a Solution..
Solution Development Lead will collaboratively work with Solution Development Director and be one of the primary
owners of developing the solution according to the standards defined in PAI Solution Development Lifecycle. The ideal
candidate should have a deep understanding of the specific domain and solution area, solid experience in Product/Solution
development in that area.
This role is highly collaborative and will interact effectively with all internal stakeholders like the Solution Owner, other
solution teams, client solutions and work closely with our Client Delivery Directors through Solution Development Director
who ensure the right functionality is built to high-quality and in a timely manner. Good understanding of the cyber domain,
effectiveness in working within a matrix organization and influencing key stakeholders, is key to the success of this role.
The key accountabilities for this role:-
- Delivering to the roadmap defined by the Solution Owner and publish a release roadmap
- Work with different teams to explain requirements, evaluation options, and explore solutions to achieve the customer s business objectives.
- Evaluate the feasibility of design ideas. Design and develop the solution using the tools, technology and architecture outlined in the underlying Platform. Work closely with the Architecture team to validate solution architecture designs.
- Gain expertise in the problem area, competitors, and their capabilities, and what needs to be delivered to the client delivery teams.
- Interact regularly with stakeholders and other teams applying exceptional leadership skills in managing expectations, mitigating risk and removal of any roadblocks.
- Constantly looking to identify impediments early, actively working to resolve those impediments, and escalates when needed.
- Management and tracking of cross team/squad dependencies.
- Provides proactive visibility and effectively communicates delivery targets, commitments, and progress.
- Establish and participate in controlling changes to solution, trouble shoot reports, change requests and emergency corrections.
- Lead cross functional development teams through strong technical and functional leadership.
- Oversee agile software development principles and guided by a prioritized solution backlog.
- Ensure quality of core solution by owning testing of the core solution. Enable the teams to deliver planned work, identifying and removing blockers, managing risks. Inspect and evaluate progress through each iteration.
- Deliver to the client delivery teams along with solution, documentation of the Solution Design, Features,
- Help Guide, Automation scripts, FAQ, Test scripts and Deployment guides that facilitate ease of implementation for a client via the Client Delivery Team.
- Responsible for people development, capacity planning, delivery management, and stakeholder communication.
Information Security responsibilities:
- Practical problem solving and strategic thinking skills; critical thinker with excellent judgment and initiative.
- Proven delivery management track record fueled by strong leadership and a strategic outlook.
- Ability to communicate effectively with the team, business, and technical audiences.
- Excellent people management, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience and knowledge in various Big Data technologies and cloud platforms.
- Strong technology background or proven knowledge in the cybersecurity domain with technology exposure.
- Experience working dynamically in a matrix environment which includes competency leads and people managers.
- Experience in effective status reporting to the Solution Development Director, as well as ability to work well with
- peers in the company to achieve organizational goals.
- Experience in Agile planning, execution, and continuous improvement. Adept in using Jira Confluence
- Experience in making decisions quickly in difficult situation
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of Security domain - using security tools, operating within a security function, developing security capabilities.
- Good understanding of IT and business architectural knowledge and exhibits the ability to logically analyse issues, problem, or business functionality.
- In depth knowledge of multiple technological areas, including knowledge of applicable processes, methodologies, standards, products and frameworks.
- Familiarity with the technology stack, database theories, structures, categories, properties, and best practices.
Education:
- Masters / Degree in Engineering preferably Computer Science.
