Job description
Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
Bookkeeping:
Perform day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including reconciling bank statements, preparing and posting journal entries.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare financial statements, reports, and budget forecasts.
Analyze financial data and provide insights to assist in decision-making processes.
Tax Compliance:
Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns.
Stay informed about changes in tax regulations and ensure compliance.
Audit Support:
Coordinate and assist in internal and external audit processes.
Prepare supporting documentation and schedules for audits.
Expense Management:
Monitor and control expenses to ensure they are within budgetary guidelines.
Analyze variances and recommend corrective actions.
Payroll Processing:
Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner.
Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations.
Financial Analysis:
Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Provide recommendations for process enhancements.
Knowledge on filing TDS, PF and other income tax return
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Proven experience as an Accountant, with a minimum of 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
CPA or relevant professional certification is a plus.
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Tally or equivalent).
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
