Responsibilities
Key Areas of Accountability
Financial Planning And Analysis - Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and forecasts.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
- Monitor and manage budgetary processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Financial Reporting - Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Risk Management - Identify and assess financial risks, proposing mitigation strategies.
- Establish and enforce internal controls to safeguard financial assets.
Audit And Compliance - Coordinate and manage internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements.
Fund Management - Oversee cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds as needed.
- Optimize the company's fund position and manage banking relationships.
Team Leadership - Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve overall organizational objectives.
Financial Systems And Processes - Implement and enhance financial systems to streamline processes.
- Continuously improve financial and accounting processes for efficiency.
Strategic Planning - Contribute to the development of organizational strategies and goals.
- Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
Cost Management - Analyze cost structures and recommend cost-saving measures.
- Monitor and control expenditures within approved budgets.
CHALLENGES - Ability to drive financial analysis in an Inorganically growing organization
- Work in developing the parameters for the leadership for the way business are creating value in the long term.
- Work with key stakeholders (CEO/CFO/Chairman office) to ensure alignment of the objectives across business units and the action plans required to achieve the same
Qualifications Qualifications: Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Chartered Accountants are preferred
Experience - Proven experience as a Finance Controller or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and financial reporting.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in financial management software.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
