Job Summary:

The Odoo Technical Team Lead plays a critical role in managing and leading a team of Odoo developers to deliver high-quality Odoo ERP solutions. This role involves technical expertise, project management, and team leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of Odoo developers.
- Provide technical guidance and support for the team to resolve complex technical issues.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in Odoo development and coding standards.

Project Management
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and timelines.
- Plan and prioritize development tasks to meet project deadlines.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

Customization and Development:
- Design and develop Odoo modules and customizations as per project requirements.
- Perform code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in Odoo implementations.

Integration and Data Migration:
- Integrate Odoo with third-party applications and systems.
- Oversee data migration activities when transitioning to Odoo from legacy systems.
- Knowledge of API design and API integration.

Quality Assurance:
- Develop and implement testing strategies to ensure the reliability and performance of Odoo solutions.
- Coordinate testing efforts within the team and with QA specialists.

Documentation:
- Create technical documentation, including functional specifications, technical design documents, and user manuals.
- Ensure that documentation is up-to-date and readily accessible to the team.

Team Collaboration:
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.
- Conduct regular team meetings to discuss project status, challenges, and improvements.
- Assist in recruitment and onboarding of new team members when necessary.

Qualifications:
- MCA/B Tech/ BE in Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience in Odoo development and customization.
- Strong programming skills in Python and knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Previous leadership or team lead experience in a software development team.
- Excellent understanding of Odoo architecture and framework.
- Experience with database management systems, particularly PostgreSQL.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Project management skills and familiarity with project management tools.
- Odoo certification is a plus.

Requirements:
- Availability to lead and work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
- Willingness to stay updated on the latest Odoo developments and technologies.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
