AXISCADES is headquartered in Bangalore and has offices across India, North America, Europe, and the Asia Pacific region About the Job This position requires over 5 years of experience in the Functional Safety (FUSA) Life Cycle, specifically in Systems and Software Development within the automotive industry, with a proven track record of achieving at least two systems safety compliance milestones. The candidate should possess expertise in Ansys Medini, DOORS design, including embedded control systems, Exposure to CMMi/ ASPICE practices. What You’ll Do Design FUSA systems, incorporating expertise in embedded control systems, hardware and software integration, microprocessor-based hardware designs, and software architecture. Develop and maintain safety plans to uphold safety standards throughout all stages of project development. Create automation tools tailored to safety development activities, aiming to enhance efficiency and accelerate project timelines. Leverage certification as an ISO26262 Automotive Functional Safety Professional to guide and inform decision-making processes related to safety standards and regulations. Functional Safety (FUSA) Life Cycle pertaining to Systems and Software Development within the automotive industry, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. What We’re Looking For Strong preference for candidates with experience in agile product development within large organizations, demonstrating adaptability and collaborative skills in dynamic environments. Proficiency in software test specifications and automation for PIL (Processor-In-the-Loop), HIL (Hardware-In-the-Loop), and SIL (Software-In-the-Loop) tests, ensuring thorough testing and validation of software components. Capability to serve as a Level 2 or Level 3 safety reviewer, overseeing and assessing software implementation conducted by software teams to ensure compliance with safety standards. Familiarity with tools such as Ansys Medini, DOORS, etc., for effective project management, documentation, and requirements engineering. Proficient scripting, programming, and process automation skills, enabling the generation of company-specific forms and templates to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency. Exposure to CMMi (Capability Maturity Model Integration) and ASPICE (Automotive SPICE) practices, indicating a commitment to quality management and process improvement in software development within the automotive sector.Job tags
