Job description
Generally the Financial Planner would collect the qualitativeinformation (client attitudes, life goals etc.) leaving the paraplanner tocollect all the quantitative detailed information required to compile afinancial plan.
Specific activities include:
Check all compliance paperworkis present
Confirm client risk profile isdetermined
Discuss client objectives withplanner
Identify and obtain theinformation necessary to compile financial cash flow forecast
Compile draft net worthstatement; income and expenditure statements and financial
Cash flow forecast and discusswith planner.
B. Understanding and analyzing the recommendations
Identify areas for planning
Undertake research bothindependently and with the Financial Planner to identify suitable solutions tomeet the clients needs
Prepare information/comparisonsfor analysis.
Complete current and future networth and cash flow projection as per the recommendation.
Prepare draft recommendationreports to be discussed/signed off by planner.
C. Implementing recommendations:
Complete application /proposals forms
Ensure all compliance paperworkis in order
Make changes to clientsinvestments as instructed
Implement the chosen investmentstrategies
D. Review :
Organise future planningmeetings with client as per the review period.
Complete review packs inpreparation for client meeting.
Review investment portfolio,asset allocation, risk profile etc.
