WHAT YOU'LL DO
The individual is responsible for leading, managing, strategizing, implementing, and overseeing the overall alumni programme for BCG in India. The individual will be responsible for growing the alumni network, plan and organize alumni events, exploring return opportunities for former employees, collaborate and share innovative ideas to bring the Alumni community into focus, and nurture mutually beneficial relationships.
One of the key success traits to be successful in this role is how proactively, innovatively, and creatively, the individual engages with the alumni community and increase the members in the network. It will also require for the individual to work on events and a fair amount of knowledge on alumni events will be helpful. Use of technology, social media, and digital platforms for this role will be an added advantage. The person will be closely working with a Managing Director and Partner (MDP) and the Human Resources team. The reporting will be to the Senior Director, India Marketing.
YOU'RE GOOD AT
Employee Engagement - Proactive in thinking of new ideas to engage with the alumni community
- Strategize with the MDP, India Marketing Head and other volunteers on what alumni programmes can be organized and executed
- Planning and executing a range of small and large-scale networking events
- Designing and running diverse communication campaigns via email, social media, app and website posts, newsletters, etc.
- On-boarding new alumni members and managing their database
- Working with larger teams to drive projects and deliverables
- Engaging with alumni members and providing them the support they seek
- Finding ways to enable alumni engagement with existing employees
- Managing the alumni database and applying analytics to churn out relevant information.
- Managing the budget and contributing to the overall strategy
- Designing & delivering a series of Employee engagement programs across offices
- Leading a team of volunteers to drive initiatives
- Planning the overall engagement strategy and managing the budget
- Evaluating the effectiveness of initiatives run and incorporating learning into future programs
- Managing end-to-end activities like logistics, communications, planning, approvals, etc. for every event
- Work closely with Location leaders to drive initiatives and strategy
- Build and foster relationships across business functions and locations to ensure employees are engaged and informed no matter where they are based.
- Support the Marketing and HR teams in the creation, communication and ongoing maintenance of their employee engagement activities to continually drive positive employee experiences.

Exit Processing and Attrition Analysis - Maintaining a real-time detailed database of all exiting employees
- Working closely with other functional teams and the exiting employee to process all exit formalities and documentation
- Regularly analysing attrition across various parameters and contributing insights to business decisions
- Coordinating with a HR SPOC to update data
- Adhering to tight timelines and taking on end-to-end ownership of the exit process.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
- Post-graduate certificate in any field
- 10+ years of relevant experience in alumni engagement work
- Experience in a service industry, preferably an MNC
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Technical skills with proficiency in Excel analytics
- Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Strong communication skills in both written and oral communication
- Solid stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
- Ability to demonstrate leadership qualities and be willing to take a hands on approach and also be able to excel in a large international company culture
