Cloud Pre-Sales Architect JD

As a Cloud Solution Architect, you will work in a client-facing role to support Dexian's IT Solutions sales team and lead creating solutions to drive growth of Managed Services business in Cloud / IT Infrastructure business. You will utilize your technical background to lead the consultative discovery of the client's business goals, challenges, and objectives and translate them into Cloud & IT infrastructure solutions and proposals to demonstrate how Dexian IT Solutions can help support their business in the cloud. You will work to understand the whole picture - how cloud, technology, and network work together to solve business problems.

Key Responsibilities:

Architecting individual client solutions – new challenges, new solutions, meeting with different clients to provide solutions to individual problems. You are enabling clients in their migration path to the cloud from legacy, on-prem solutions.
• Designing solutions in Azure/AWS/GCP & Data Center Technologies and creating proposals with pricing, Visio diagrams of solutions, and configuration instructions for operational deployment
• Requirements gathering, assessments of current/existing client environment, and translating the information into a solution. This may include items related to networking, infrastructure, backup, cloud, cybersecurity, and anything else within our portfolio of services.
• Providing sales support and subject matter expertise to our Sales team and enterprise and strategic accounts.
• Serving as the highest level of escalation for sales troubleshooting and providing technical sales assistance for infrastructure related solutions.
• Supporting sales team with content for RFP responses.
• Leading design sessions including strategic planning design, technical review, and implementation.
• Serving as a trusted advisor and making strategic recommendations for posture improvement through-out the sales process and transition of solutions to Dexian delivery.
• Hosting Webinars on our current portfolio and technology to drive awareness of Dexian's technical expertise.
• Creating and delivering content as a follow-up to lead generation activities.
• On-site solutioning engagements with high profile clients may be required from time to time.

Qualifications For Consideration

• BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field experience.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience with career progression as an Enterprise Solution Architect or Cloud Engineer
• Minimum 4+ years of experience with an Azure or AWS cloud environments
• At least three (3) years of experience in pre-sales engineering and/or sales in an IT Outsourcing, Managed Services, Professional Services, Systems Integrator, OEM, or similar environment
• Experience within SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, and other cloud environments
• Knowledge with Design cloud Infrastructure, virtual private cloud, virtual private network, relational database services, auto scaling & computing resources to meet customers' requirements.
• Good Knowledge in network & security implementations best practices using cloud native offerings to include Azure Application Gateways, Network Security groups, Azure Key Vault, or AWS equivalent.
• Experience in containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Azure AKS, AWS EKS).
• Good knowledge in Identity & Access Management (AD, Azure AD, ADFS etc)
• Good exposure in Advanced IT Infrastructure & application monitoring, backup & disaster recovery methodologies. Experience with 3rd party tools like Data Dog, Dynatrace is a plus.
• Experience in Data Center Technologies like Storage, Backup, Windows Server, Active Directory
• Has the ability to break down technical concepts, helping clients understand true business/end user impact.
• Can work collaboratively across a variety of business units to implement new technology and
• Has strong documentation, presentation, and reporting abilities
• Has strong written and verbal communication skills to write technical thought leadership content to drive brand awareness and business.
• Has knowledge of Cloud & Data Center licensing models for enterprise customers to assist in license optimization and maximizing investments
