Summary: As an IA Product Owner - Vice President within our commercial lending operations team, you will have the opportunity to utilize your strong product knowledge and domain expertise to reengineer processes and implement solutions. You will serve as a liaison between stakeholders and users, and your excellent analytical skills and attention to detail will be crucial in this role. Job Responsibilities - Strong product knowledge/hands on experience and domain expertise on commercial lending operations, E2E process/loan life cycle
- Reengineer processes in correlation with Deal Closing, Drawdowns, Rollovers, Repayments, Pre-payments, Funding, Rate-Fixings, Fees and external payments, collection of interest, Nostro & Past Due Reconciliation, Collateral & Insurance tracking on commercial lending
- Evaluate business processes, requirements analysis, uncovering areas for improvement, developing, and implementing solutions
- Elicit, analyze, and validate the business needs. Serve as liaison between stakeholders and users
- Business reengineering, large data handling and problem-solving skills. Logical acumen with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical skills and an informed, evidence-based approach
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure
- An interest and understanding of project management techniques and business analysis. Commercial awareness, time management and interpersonal skills.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills - Bachelor's Degree with at least 10 years experience, including a minimum of 3 years of experience in business analysis or loan servicing work
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Advanced technical, analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Strong problem solving and investigative skills to undertake analysis, resolve issues/problems related to the process
- Knowledge of investment banking products including Loans
- Proven track record and experience in driving medium to large sized projects with strong results
Preferred Qualification - experience in business analysis or loan servicing work, preferably for commercial lending or experience in a Back office/Financial industry
- Candidates with knowledge of loan systems like Loan IQ, ACBS will be an added advantage
