Job description
A leading global Investment management bank based out of Mumbai is looking for an Executive Director-Data Science for their Asset & Wealth Management team.This team is focused on using data to identify and optimize sales productivity and business development efforts and ensure development of marketing strategies. The team oversees the entire lifecycle from acquisition to analytics to delivery of increased ROI, new business and sales growth. Responsibilities Support initiative(s) to deliver information and business intelligence strategies across Sales & Marketing groups. Ability to understand key business drivers / questions, translate into structured analysis and providing business insights. Perform analysis on key business trends from different perspectives and package the insights into easily consumable presentations and documents Working with technology teams to create a center of excellence around visualization strategies, Design and implement solutions including executive reports, dashboards and data quality tools Partnering with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging advanced analytics. Leverage the power of AI/ML to solve complex business problems Embed analytics process in organizational decision making: descriptive, diagnostic and predictive and prescriptive analytics to derive better business outcomesQualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a Tier 1 Tech institute. Masters or advanced degree in Statistics, Math, Engineering or other quantitative-focused field preferred Experience using computer languages (Python, Pyspark, Google Analytics, etc.) to manipulate and analyze large datasets. Experience using machine learning libraries in Python (Numpy, Pandas, Sci-kit learn, tensorflow, etc.) Knowledge of variety of machine learning algorithms (linear regression, logistic regression, SVMs, Tree-based models, neural networks, etc.) and techniques (cross validation, feature selection approaches, hyper parameter optimization, missing data imputation etc.) Strong visualization capabilities and experience with BI tools (Qlik, Tableau, Power BI, etc)
