Role Description

Godrej Körber Supply Chain Ltd is looking for an Installation Lead for on-site installation projects in Mumbai. This is a full-time position. The Installation Lead will be responsible for overseeing installation projects from start to finish, ensuring that they are implemented according to design specifications, and ensuring high standards of safety, quality and efficiency. The job will require working closely with customers, consultants, suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to complete installations on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• 10 to 15 years of experience in Installation & Commissioning of Heavy Machineries.
• Strong knowledge of Machine working.
• Hands on experience of assembly and testing of complex machines.
• Strong project management and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of industrial automation technologies, preferably warehouse automation solutions.
• Experience leading teams in installation, testing and commissioning projects.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage customer relationships, consultants, suppliers, contractors and internal teams.
• Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience with PLC programming is a plus.
• Understanding of Safety, Quality and Environment standards.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work under tight deadlines.
• Experience leading teams of 5 to 10 engineers.
