About Alle : At Alle, we are building an AI-powered fashion & lifestyle assistant that helps users discover personalised information & inspiration for their lifestyle goals.We're assembling the founding team and are looking for an ML Engineer/Data Scientist with experience building Search & Recommendation systems. You will work closely with the founders to bring this vision to reality.Alle is venture-backed by the top VCs & angels in India & US.Our products are live at : iOS : : : : Roles and Responsibilities : - System Development : Design, develop, and deploy systems for search and recommendation systems tailored to user preferences and behaviours.- Data Analysis & Modelling : Analyse complex datasets to uncover insights and patterns that inform model development. Implement and test various search and recommendation algorithms to improve system performance.- Optimisation & Scaling : Optimise existing machine learning models for performance and scalability. Ensure systems can handle increasing volumes of data and user queries efficiently.- Cross-functional Support : Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and designers to integrate these systems into the product, ensuring a seamless and impactful user experience.- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies and apply them to improve search capabilities- Conduct experiments and A/B testing to evaluate the performance of different search algorithms- Monitor and analyse search metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes- Troubleshoot and debug issues related to search functionality and performanceCultural Expectations :- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into ML solutions- Take ownership of ML models and algorithms, ensuring their accuracy and performance- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment- Attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work within deadlines- Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountabilityHiring Process :- Introductory call with Co-founder- Assignment + Technical discussion with 2nd Co-founder- Assignment walkthrough- Final interview (ref:hirist.tech)
