About the role:
This is a unique opportunity for an analytical, creative and experienced individual to make a big impact on Gartner’s client experience as a digital product manager on the CX Platforms team as part of the Gartner Product Management organization. Our mission is to create effortless, customer-centric, habit-forming digital experiences that enable clients to solve their mission critical priorities, by ensuring a cost-effective, scalable, and secured platform for all our products. We are looking for an impact-driven, self-motivated problem solver to be the product owner leading a scrum team of engineers and designers building and improving Gartner’s platforms by solving a variety of client needs using the lean product framework.
What you’ll do:
Working on creating innovative products through a mix of qualitative and quantitative methods, including frequently referring to best practices and latest techniques in product management around discovery and scaling.
Integrate input from multiple channels, including customer research and stakeholder requirements, uncovering user needs through exploratory/focused conversations into product priorities and requirements
Relying on data-driven insights to inform which features to prioritize for development and to also size the opportunity landscape
Implement a “lean” approach to product development along with the design and engineering team, strive for early validation of learnings and continuously iterate to achieve the goals
Serve as a product owner & manage the product backlog, including writing stories and actively engage in the Agile process such as daily scrum sessions, backlog refinement, demos etc
Understand customer and business needs and synthesize opportunities
Assist Design, build, launch and assess MVPs
Work with senior members to establish a vision and roadmaps and provide visibility to business and technical stakeholders
Product Strategy-
Develop a roadmap, in conjunction with customers, executives, services, sales, and engineering
Lead brainstorming and collaborative problem-solving sessions with stakeholders across Gartner to define and implement product concepts, features, and functionality
Provide insightful analytics necessary to manage and run the businesses
What you’ll need:
Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA (or equivalent) will be a plus
3-5 years’ work experience (including working as a digital product manager)
Strong analytical capabilities
Exposure to or are curious about technology / SaaS providers across categories and different challenges associated with product development
Comfortable with understanding technical aspects of a product development process and communicating with engineering teams on trade-offs vs. implications
Possess strong communication and collaboration skills; Are a self-starter who can anticipate business needs and fulfill them proactively
