Job Description & Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of an Internal Sales Engineer include:
Maintaining expert level of product knowledge and applications.
Articulating product positioning to both sales teams and external customers,including competitor substitutions.
Producing quotations for customers in a clear, detailed, and accurate manner.
Tender bid preparations with all documentations within defined timeline for Govt &non Govt projects
Vendor registration activities wherever required
Providing and assisting colleagues on technical and engineering issues.
Negotiating and achieving deadlines for the submission of quotations.
Communicating with customers to gain feedback on quotations
Building relationships with customers and potential customers to understand their
Requirements.
Planning job timescales.
Assessing the levels of risk on a project.
Helping with bids for new contracts and supporting buying activities.
Correct & timely order placement to the parent manufacturing organisation and negotiating, monitoring timely deliveries.
Inventory monitoring and liquidation activity
Supervising shipment processes
Interpreting customer performance requirements, gathering proposals,specifications, and related documents, and liaising with stakeholders to convert
specifications to cost estimates for new and current products.
Maintaining accurate records of target accounts, opportunities, quotes, projects,contacts, and correspondence in company databases.
Achieving relevant targets and KPIs.
