Position : Electrical Draughtsman

Job Type: One year extendable contract.

Industry: Solar power project.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Electrical Designing.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in renewable energy project Designing.
• Strong knowledge of Auto CAD and sketch up for designing of solar and wind technologies
• Familiarity with designing and AutoCAD codes.

Responsibilities:

• Designing the Electrical Drawings for the Solar and Wind Plant using AutoCAD software
• General arrangement/layout drawings, Section and elevation drawings, Construction details, Single line diagrams, Maintain CAD templates and libraries.
• Generate construction drawing packages/sketches/as-builts using AutoCAD software.
• Cable Lengths and Bill of material estimation from the layout
• Shadow analysis on the Google SketchUp
• Substation SLD and layout preparations
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, standards, and codes.
• Perform other responsibilities as necessary to support the successful completion of projects.
