Job description

MEP Business Development Engineer/MEP Sales Engineer

The ideal candidate for this position will obtain and expand the company's business relationships. To succeed in this position, the candidate must have a solid technical understanding of the company and its products and a sociable and outgoing personality to build rapport with potential clients. 

 

Experience: 1-3 years in the same/similar industry

Fluent in English (speaking and writing)

Salary: Rs. 25,000/- (Negotiable plus commission based on the company policy)

Job description:

1. Search for new clients who could benefit from our products and services in a

designated sector.

2. Identify new business opportunities.

3. Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to

clients and prospective clients.

4. Plan and modify products to meet clients' needs.

5. Collecting data for each project, including consultants, contractors,

competitors, and end-users.

6. Preparing feasibility studies for clients, showing how changes will lower costs

or increase production.

7. Prepare technical and commercial proposals and sales contracts.

8. Handle client queries and problems with other departments in the company to

ensure customer satisfaction.

9. Negotiate and manage conflicts using different approaches.

10. Establish a new client list and maintain the existing one.

11. Create long-term relationships with clients and ensure these relationships are

based on a win-win situation.

12. Secure and renew orders, arrange delivery, and follow up on collection with

clients.

13. Prepare various status reports, including weekly plans, reports, and monthly

reports, ongoing projects, closings, follow-ups, and adherence to goals.

14. Prepare market analysis reports and needed actions, monthly reports, and

sales forecast reports to his direct manager.

15. Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences, and other

marketing events.

16. Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
