Position: AccountantExperience Required: 2 YearsLocation: AhmedabadJob Shift: General ShiftAbout the job:We are seeking an experienced and passionate Accountant to join our company. In this role, you will be responsible for handling our account & finance related works. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of accounting skills and leadership ability, with the communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with other members of the team. Typical Duties and Responsibilities:Take ownership of all accounting.Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.Support in prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets in compliance with Indian accounting standards and regulations.Support in conduct quarter-end and year-end closing activities to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.Support audits by providing documentation and explanations as needed.Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.Preparing GST reconciliation, cash projection reconciliation, prepaid expense reconciliation reports.Assist in the preparation of GST returns, audits, and regulatory filings.Prepare, send, collect, and reconcile accounts receivable invoices in quick books.Receive, Enter, prepare to pay, and reconcile accounts payable invoices.Research and resolve accounts payable issues.Assist with expense report and tracking.Verify and process Invoices/Bills.Stay up-to-date on accounting best practices and regulatory changes.Required Skills and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in an IT based company.Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite, particularly Excel.Enthusiastic learner with the ability to teach and mentor teammates and cross functional partners.Proficient ERP accounting system, Tally Prime would be added advantage.Integrity and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality of financial information.Strong accounting and financial reporting skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Be creative with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
