Job description
The candidate must be hands-on Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) and should be able to work with geographically dispersed Dev & QA team in a very dynamic, rapidly evolving and high pressure, high visibility project setting.
The following will be the candidates key focus areas: Passionate around automating and writing end-to-end testing including frontend/backend applications, with strong command on OOPs concept. Create Test harness and infrastructure Being comfortable with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment. Ability to use a wide variety of open source and in-house technologies and tools. Take a hands-on approach to implementing QA processes right from requirements analysis, test design, automation and analysis. Collaborate with developers, business and multiple global stakeholders to drive QA agenda & standards by engaging with them throughout the SDLC Skills Required 4+ years of hands-on experience working on QA automation using Java Experience in developing test automation for Web applications preferably using Cypress, Selenium, BDD Cucumber and Java Experience in developing test automation within Agile projects Experience in developing test automation for Backend applications preferably using rest assured. Good knowledge about testing concepts and understanding of database concepts, OOPs concepts and strong in core Java skills. Strong working knowledge of various test types including client/server, white-box, black-box, positive/negative, and relational database testing. Solid test design skills, test case writing, automation and analysis.
